‘Hospitality is a sacred duty. We are called to take care of one
another, to welcome each other and to recognise God,
already present, in our midst’

Parish Visitation: A Practical Expression of Mission

Outreach is part of the mission of all Christians. It is a way that a parish community can show that it is
caring for itself. Setting up a parish visitation team is a means of maintaining and renewing contact
with parishioners and those who may feel alienated.

Workshops are available to parishes and cover the following areas:

  • Why is parish visitation important?
  • What is needed for effective visitation in a parish?
  • The parish visitation team: who, how, when, where?
  • Practical support in the formation of your visitation team
